Welcome to Monday!  There are many people who bemoan the start of another week of work when Mondays roll around, but I would like to invite you to celebrate Monday with me.  You are invited to a party called life.  You didn’t ask to be invited; but the day you were born, your invitation was engraved with your name.  As it goes with most great parties, your only responsibility is to show up with the anticipation of having a wonderful time.  The guest list might be long and the number of attendees might be staggering, but your presence is essential for the party to take place.

It is important to remember every single day that you have been invited to live your life.  There may be challenges along the way, but you have been invited to meet them and to overcome them.  There may be joys along the way, and you have been invited to dance with them and feel your spirit soar.

I can’t think of a better day than Monday for a reminder that we are here because we have been invited to exist.  There is a huge party going on.  It is called life.  So grab your invitation, show up, and anticipate the excitement of the celebration.  Don’t be late!  The party would not be complete without you.
